Courtney grew up listening to classic country music. As a young girl, she remembers standing on top of a big yellow-orange foot stool with a jump rope as her make-believe microphone signing along with Dolly Parton, Barbara Mandrell, Janie Fricke and Donna Fargo in front of the red-felt console stereo in her parents living room.
Courtney's parents, Larry and Mary Jo made sure their family had a proper country upbringing. They took Courtney along with her Brother Loren, and Sister Renee, on multiple-trips to Branson, a tour of fishing trips to Florida, Minnesota and Lake of the Woods in Canada, and even to a real working dude ranch in Sedalia, Colorado called Lost Valley Ranch.  Courtney is a native of and resides in rural Chillicothe with her 2 dogs.
And enjoys fishing, traveling, shopping and spending time with her niece and nephew.
